GP Teaching Practice

We are an approved GP teaching practice. From time to time a GP registrar will be working here. It is important to understand that GP registrars are well qualified doctors who have already had several years’ experience working in hospitals. They are here to learn to apply their knowledge and skills in the general practice setting.

Some surgeries each week will be taken by the registrar and you can be sure that your care will continue to be as good as we can possibly make it. As a teaching practice we must always be reviewing the way we work and we feel that this is an advantage to all our patients.

Dispensing

With the exception of Grange Park Surgery, we have provision to dispense to patients who live in the villages. The Health Service regulations on this matter are very strict and this service can only be offered to those patients who register as dispensing when they join the practice or when they move house.
